*Cue the confetti*

Your Badass Boss Style Archetype is:

Creative Siren

“Vibrant & Bold”

Your affirmation: “I’m ready to step into my highest, most powerful self.”

Your style is Vibrant & Bold. Maximalist and adventurous.

You’re an ambitious woman who loves to create and sees the world in vibrant color. As an artistic soul, your style is naturally bold with a hint of creativity that’s dying to be teased out and explored. Your style is charming, playful and colorfully romantic.

…but right now, it isn’t strategic.

More than most people, you understand the power of creativity to transform and give joy.

You’ve always felt drawn to the mystery of fashion. You know that a thoughtfully-curated public image will help you navigate your writing career with confidence and ease. But you’re not quite sure how to put it all together in a way that enhances your self-esteem, creativity and career.

“The joy of dressing is an art.”

—John Galliano

“JenniLee, tell me: what does my style say about me?”

You, as a human, are wondrously unique. Your fascinating personality can’t be summed up or boxed into one single clear-cut style category.

The good news? You have the power to embrace whatever style persona you want to, every single day. And that’s liberating.

That’s why as a stylist, I'm never going to tell you ‘this is the best thing for your shape’ or ‘you’re a summer or a winter.’

Because the simple truth is:

You’re not a box to be ticked. You’re a multidimensional human.

And those kinds of restrictions? They aren’t helpful.

Each of us inherits complicated messages (especially people who identify as women) from our mothers, fathers, and the people around us about our appearance. And this impacts how we feel we can show up in the world.

The way I see it, real style is all about becoming truer to the essence of who you are in a very powerful way, so you can show up in life with confidence and joy.

We’re now finally in a place as women to take hold of that narrative and dress however we want to, wherever we're going.

So no, it’s not about finding your ‘one perfect style’.

It’s about embracing your multifacetedness, showing up as your badass boss self and learning how to read the room, so you can control the narrative of how you want to be perceived.

Your strengths as a Creative Siren

You’re free-spirited and inquisitve.

You’re colorful, juicy, spirited and always creating. You have a rich inner life and a deep, wide imagination.

Driven by curiosity, you love to observe the world, explore unique angles, and give birth to new words, new stories, new ideas. You have a wealth of creative ideas and material inside that you’re not yet sure how to unlock.

You’re a deep thinker and feeler.

There is nothing braver than taking a piece of yourself and putting it on the page. As a writer, you’ve had to develop an inner resilience and deep self-awareness about who you are and why you do what you do.

Highly sensitive from a young age, your first love was creativity. When you read a sentence, a character, or enjoy a creative work you admire, it affects you in a deep, visceral way. You find yourself obsessed with deconstructing the how.

being.

You’re ambitious and values-driven.

Your work is your calling.

When you’re deep in the flow of writing, you feel at peace. You love the thrill of using your art to experience life more deeply and thoughtfully.

Your ambition is magical, but your caring is even more so. You’re thoughtful, sensitive and care deeply about making conscious decisions by supporting businesses that don’t harm the planet or people.

“When you don’t dress like everyone else, you don’t have to think like everyone else.

—Iris Apfel

Your style challenge: “How can I build my authority and personal brand as a creative professional through the way I dress?”

You're a creative professional who’s looking to play on a bigger stage. But you don't feel your clothes reflect who you are or support your confidence.

As a creative professional, you have more freedom than most to craft an unforgettable personal brand that explores and celebrates the different facets of who you are.

Since you do a lot of solo creative work, it’s also really important to use your clothes to celebrate yourself and recharge.

Getting dressed is one of the easiest ways to energize your creativity. Dressing creatively can set the tone for your day, inspire your imagination, elevate your private daily writing ritual, and act as your armor as you come up against creative challenges.

Let me show you how you can use style to live a life deep in meaning, rich in joy, and full of creativity—and project the professional identity you’ve always wanted.

“Understanding your style is the fastest way to get major breakthroughs and get closer to the essence of who you are. And that’s powerful.”

— JenniLee Stylist

IT’S TIME TO…

⟡ Discover how style can elevate your art and work

⟡ Step into greater creative confidence with your style

⟡ Explore deeper self-expression in a new exciting way

 Your style action plan

Your quiz results will illuminate 3 simple steps you can take to craft your unique style—something that reflects the core, multifaceted truth of YOU.

Ready to take the first step? Let’s do this!

  • As a creative entrepreneur, you have the power to make your own fashion rules.

So what are you going to do with this freedom?

Let’s start small. Begin by creating a mood board on Pinterest.

Start collecting photos, images, and references of how you dream to show up and style you admire. Steal inspiration from wherever you like—the runway, television, musicians, even a photo of your mother.

    Here are a few recommendations:

⟡ Try pinning photos that illustrate your dream scenarios - travelling first class, or even a photo of the incredible hotel lobby where you’re staying. What do you envision yourself wearing in each situation?

⟡ For each image, make note of what it is in the image that lights you up or gets you excited.

⟡ In each page, make note of what doesn't light you up or align with your higher vision of yourself.

Jot down these details so when you go back, you’re able to hone in on what it is that inspired you!

  • Like I said earlier, no one has a single style. Every time you change your clothing, you're changing a facet of your personality for that moment.

BUT you can step into different style personas throughout the day to help focus your energy and smash your goals.

Even if you’re sitting at a desk most of the time, give yourself that signifier that you are getting dressed because you are actually doing work. Give yourself that respect and honor that persona you’re stepping into.

Science shows that when you dress up in your best clothes, you’re more likely to think outside the box and solve creative problems.

Dressing up will also give you that extra edge when you’re sharing your work, teaching, reading, signing, doing a book cover shoot, or even getting a critique on your work. Plus, it’s damn fun.

For example, you might have a work-from-home outfit, a superpower boss babe outfit, a 'feeling fantastic meeting people' magnetic networking outfit, plus cozy clothes that make you feel safe, self-loved, sexy, and relaxed.

No matter if you’re wearing your “forward-facing” or “back-stage” clothes, you deserve a uniform that makes you feel amazing, grounded and confident for all the different ways you’re showing up in the world — and showing up for yourself.
